the Artist

I am a Mexican-born artist raised on the West Coast and currently based in Washington, DC. My work focuses on portraiture, drawing inspiration from friends, family, neighbors, and the communities around me.

Using airbrush, painting, and vibrant color, I create images that explore identity, personality, confidence, and connection. Bright colors, simplified forms, and soft gradients allow me to emphasize mood and presence while celebrating the individuality of my subjects.

My work is rooted in everyday experiences and the people who shape them. Through portraiture, I aim to create images that feel both personal and familiar, inviting viewers to reflect on themselves and the communities they belong to.
